Fiona joined Moana New Zealand in 2018, having worked in the manufacturing and FMCG sector throughout her whole career. Growing up in the Army means she has lived in both the North and South Islands, Australia and Singapore, however Whirinaki in the Hokianga is her tūrangawaewae.
Holding a Bachelor of Chemical and Materials Engineering degree from the University of Auckland, Fiona is an experienced Operations Manager within the FMCG and white ware industries. She has a passion and unique ability to create “Great Work Places” through organisational culture development. Fiona has a drive to unleash latent capability within existing employees and has interest in companies with big growth agendas, particularly those like Moana New Zealand with a focus in establishing manufacturing capability with regards to growth and innovation. A key outcome of hers is to continue her legacy of demonstrating consistent bottom line performance within the Company.
Fiona has always wanted to use her extensive experience to work with Iwi to ensure long term sustainability of Treaty Settlement Assets for future generations and sees working at Moana New Zealand as a unique opportunity to fulfill her long term aspiration to work for all 59 Iwi.

Fiona’s long list of hobbies includes tennis, indoor netball, surfing, and travelling. Spending time with her small whānau drives her to continue succeeding while maintaining a healthy work life balance.
