Our Opportunity & You:
Our Group Division is responsible for business development, corporate financial services and supporting the Executive team and wider business across New Zealand.
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this position has responsibility for managing a range of tasks related to day to day finance activities from debtors and creditors, general ledger reconciliations, month end processes, treasury, and cash management. You would have responsibility for key vendors, ensuring a high level of service and representation of Moana as well as ensuring accurate and timely finance information is provided to the business, to support effective decision making.
You might be an accomplished Accounts Assistant looking for more responsibility and your next career step or an experienced Accounts Officer wanting a change in environment and industry. What is important to us is having someone who has a genuine connection with what we stand for and do, and wants to contribute to shaping the future of Moana and will embrace our values, vision and purpose.
You will bring strong communication skills and the ability to connect and build relationships with people at all levels, internally and externally. With a flair for multi-tasking, a strong attention to detail and an appetite for learning, you will enjoy working and delivering as part of a team, as well as individually.
You will have a minimum of 2-3 years operational experience in accounts receivable or payable, or a mixture of both would be advantageous. With an excellent knowledge of finance, you will be systems savvy, detailed orientated and able to demonstrate your ability to add value.
